Platinum Coach & RV

Operations Manager

Fort Myers, Florida•Full-time
$50,000 - $65,000 annually
About the Job
About Platinum Coach & RV:
Platinum Coach & RV is a growing mobile and in-shop RV service company in Fort Myers, FL. Our technicians keep motorhomes and RVs on the road, handling everything from chassis work to house and coach electrical, plumbing, appliances, multiplex systems, and more. We're known for doing the job right, and we're building the team to match our growth.

The Opportunity:
We're hiring an Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day shop. You'll be the person who keeps technicians productive, schedules full, parts on the shelf, and customers in the loop. If you love bringing order to a busy service operation and leading a team that takes pride in its work, this role is for you.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the team: Assign and prioritize daily work for technicians and admin staff so everyone knows what's next.
  • Run the schedule: Own the appointment calendar, book incoming jobs, and keep the bays moving without bottlenecks.
  • Manage inventory: Track parts and supplies, work with vendors, and make sure jobs never stall waiting on parts.
  • Oversee work orders: Review work orders in Shopmonkey for accuracy and completeness before every job closes out.
  • Take care of customers: Make sure every customer gets clear updates, a smooth pickup, and a follow-up after the job.
  • Build the playbook: Help create and refine the processes that let the shop scale.

What You Bring:
  • 2+ years leading a team in a repair or service business (automotive, RV, marine, HVAC, or similar). RV experience is a plus but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with shop management, scheduling, or dispatch software (Shopmonkey is a big plus).
  • Clear, confident communication with both your team and customers.
  • Strong organization and follow-through. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
  • Comfort managing inventory, vendors, and purchasing.
  • A hands-on leadership style. This is an on-site, on-the-floor role.
  • Good judgment on people. You'll make recommendations on hiring, performance, and pay, with final decisions made by ownership.

What You'll Earn:
  • $50,000–$65,000 base salary, depending on experience.
  • Commission on gross profit, so you share directly in the shop's success.
  • The chance to shape operations at a growing company from the ground up.
